In the app

• Your Mac’s picture and sound go straight to your TV, on your local network. They go through no server.
• No account, no email asked in the app.
• Anonymous statistics, only if you agree: app and macOS versions, Mac model, cast mode and settings, measured smoothness and delay, kinds of errors. Never your name, your TV, your screen or your files. They are sent to TelemetryDeck (TelemetryDeck GmbH, Germany) with an ID drawn at random on your Mac. Turn them off anytime in Settings.
• Updates: once a day, the app asks castmymac.com whether a new version exists. Like any web request, this shares your IP address with the host (Cloudflare), which does not keep it for us.

On the website and when buying

The website uses no advertising cookies and no tracking tools. Payment is handled by Stripe, under its own privacy policy; we receive your email and order details for support and accounting.
